Remember to implement some of these tip and comment on our blog site about what you did.
Mistake # 1 Not Telling People What You Do Or ALL The Services And Products You Offer:
This mistake is two fold, #1 not telling your customers about all your products and services, and #2 not telling your employees about them. Both of them are very critical to your bottom line. If you your clients don’t know what everything you sell, then they will be going elsewhere for those products or service. If your employees don’t know, then they can not educate the customers about them or know to sell them. Believe it or not, there are a lot of companies out there that has employees that don’t know what all their company offers.
Tip for Mistake #1: The tip is 2 fold also. #1, communicate to your customers through email, newsletter, phone call, brochure or any other means you can think of. Some companies highlight a new product or service every month in a newsletter. Others will have their customer service representatives tell customers about new services when they call in. #2, communicate to your employees. Put services and products on your agenda for your weekly meeting. Other ideas are to post flyers in the break-room.
Since this is a 2-Part mistake, I am going to leave you to this one for the next month. I challenge you to find out which part of the mistake is affecting the bottom line of your company. If this mistake does not exist in your business, then pat yourself and your team on that back. If it does, then you can take the first step in the The Effective Communication Challenge. Try some of the tips that I have given you. If you come up with other ones, please let us know be commenting on our blog page commchallenge.blogspot.com. I look forward to your feedback!
